The Raw Society
Issue Three
268pp softback magazine

I may be biased—as a member of the Raw Society editorial team—but this is a stonking publication. The Raw Society Magazine is a non-profit project dedicated to sharing compelling, meaningful stories from Raw Society members and the wider photography community.

With each new edition, it continues to grow stronger. Now in its third issue, the magazine explores a wide range of themes, including social issues, war, sport, politics, culture, travel, history—even dog shows.

It’s a truly international collaboration. Co-founder Christelle Enquist identifies as a Spanish-Swedish photographer, while Jorge Delgado-Ureña is a Spanish photographer and mentor. Kayla Green and Mei Seva, both based in the US, are key contributers: Kayla is a journalist and executive editor for several community newspapers, and Mei is a creative and documentary photographer. The magazine itself is printed in Breda, the Netherlands.

The magazines we admire and think really work are those that recognise a certain creative community, help formulate and articulate its stories and its ideas. Magazines that bring voices, visions and work to the widest audience. So The Raw Society Magazine is just the thing we’re always looking for.
